Wanted – Under 13 Football Players
Are you a talented skilful under 13 football player looking to join a friendly well run winning football team? We are looking for experienced players with ability for our Sunday league junior team based in South Devon. Our first team is one of the most competitive teams in the region. Contact us if you want to play football at a higher level.
Promising Players Wanted
As part of our commitment to football development we also have a second team squad for players at under 13 age group. Our coaching team will focus on improving basic football skills, knowledge and confidence for all players. So if your child has a love of football and is keen to join a new team then contact us about our free taster training sessions every Wednesday night.

End of Season Presentation
As part of the wider Discoveries Devon Football Club presentation evening all players will be invited to our awards evening. Discoveries Devon FC are also running an under 12’s teams for 2023/24 season.
Player Discipline
Join a winning team but also play within the spirit of the game when on the pitch with opposing players or referees. The team will adopt standards of behaviour on and off the pitch as set out by the FA and we will enforce these standards of fair play and respect.
Team Ethos and Parental Help
During games we ask all parents to keep negative comments away from the players and to fully support the team each week. Personal side-line coaching of your child is not permitted and disrupts the team. The managers will be focussed on creating a winning team and developing your child, but it must be enjoyable and fun for all the children and therefore parents who cannot support this positive atmosphere will be asked not to attend the games or leave the club.
Parental Help with Coaching / Volunteer Linesman / General Match Day Assisting
We are keen to find other footballing parents who want to commit and help us run the under 13’s teams in whatever capacity. Ideally, we would like to have a team of four to five parents who can help with weeknight training / Sunday football matches on either a part time basis or every weekend. Having more parental involvement on any level would benefit the children so please contact us if you are a parent who can help with the running of the team in any capacity.
